Via Real offers distribution centre (DC) management solutions to retailers and manufacturers. 

 

Develloping a DC is a multi-disciplinary project. the high-level concept design is carried out by Via Real. For the detailed engineering we work together with specialist and prospective suppliers. The best results areobtained by a team in wich the client and the future DC management participates. In case of contracted operations Via Real act as project and contract manager on behalf of the clients. If empowered we manage the realisation and operational management.

 

Our approach is based on an integrated view of the supply chain. The model we apply has its roots in the Quick Response thinking first introduced by Kurt Salomon Brothers in the early nineties and later applied the grocery retail and known under the banner of Efficient Consumer Response (ECR). 

 

Our aim is therefore on developing processes which enable our clients to serve their markets faster, better and more efficiently with less capital tied-up in the system (stocks, assets, etc).

 

We have carried projects for such sectors as: health-care, fashion, grocery retail, FMCG, component and spare-parts, finished cars and high-tech products.
